Greenzy Violet the Giraffe
I’d like to introduce you to Greenzy’s! Greenzy’s is an eco-friendly children’s brand, promoting green living through stuffed animals and books that are environmentally safe, fun and educational. The soft cuddly plush toys are made in socially responsible factories from soy fibers and non-toxic dyes with packaging made from recycled paperboard. When you purchase one of these cute animals, a tree is planted. Your child can personalize a printable, digital certificate documenting the planting of the tree!
The story is a cute tale about being environmentally conscious and aware of the world around us. In this first book, the Greenzys meet Orinda, the world’s oldest living tree. When they discover she’s in trouble, they agree to help her – but not before they learn the importance of being green. The book is made in an eco-friendly manner, with FSC/SFI/PEFC certified paper and board with soy based inks. The book is printed in The United States, which also reduces the carbon footprint. They have 8 animal characters – and for review we received Violet the Giraffe. These animals are super soft and cuddly – an I like knowing that Violet is made from safe and sustainable materials. My son renamed her “Johnny” though… I guess he had his own ideas!
The Greenzy’s books and characters debuted in FAO Schwartz and on FAO.com on April 5th. But you have a chance to win one of these cuddly guys for yourself! What a nice Earth Month treat!
